With ToBePolo your craft becomes an experience people can book: you teach what you know, on the days you choose, and learners pay on the site. Joining is free, your listing appears in four languages and the fee, 20% plus VAT, only applies when a booking comes in.

For the first 20 ToBePolo Artisans and Hobbyists who sign up, we prepare the listing ourselves, free of charge, within 5 working days. 20 left.
What ToBePolo does for you

Signing up and publishing is free
No sign-up cost, no subscription.

You decide dates, places and price
Even just one date a month, with as many places as you want. Bookings close 24 hours before the start.

Whoever books pays on the site
We collect the payment, through Stripe, and your share reaches your IBAN.

We check your identity document and read every listing before publishing it.

Your listing is in four languages
In Italian, English, French and German, on the map, in the Catalogue and in the site search.

In person or online
In your workshop, in a studio, outdoors, or by video: whoever has booked receives the link.
What it costs
No subscription, no sign-up cost.
You set the price. On each booking ToBePolo keeps a service fee of 20% of the price paid by the customer, plus VAT on the fee. Payment fees are borne by you.
An example On a €40 craft you receive about €29.39.
From sign-up to your first booking
Everything is done on tobepolo.com, with a guided procedure that asks one question at a time.

Step 1
Create your account
With your email, or with Google, Facebook or Apple.

Step 2
Choose your profile and sign the contract
ToBePolo Artisan or Hobbyist. You sign on the screen, with your tax code and address.

Write your listing
What you teach, the photos, the price, the times. Each craft has its own listing.

Upload an identity document
We ask for it only when you submit the listing.

We review and publish
Then the listing can be booked. We ask for your IBAN at the first confirmed booking.
From booking to bank transfer

When the request arrives
The customer chooses the date and pays on the site. The amount is only authorised.

Within 6 hours
You confirm, and the amount is charged. If you do not confirm in time, the customer does not pay.

48 hours after the end
Your share goes into the balance of your professional profile.

When you choose
A bank transfer to your IBAN. Each month the first one is free; the others cost €0.10 plus 0.25% of the amount.
With or without a VAT number
With a VAT number
ToBePolo Artisans
You work with a VAT number, as a craftsperson, farm, studio or small business. You can offer crafts and experiences at every risk level; for medium and high risk you need third-party liability insurance.
Without a VAT number
ToBePolo Hobbyists
You have no VAT number and now and then you teach what you know how to do. You offer only low-risk experiences, up to €5,000 in earnings or 50 activities in the year. Beyond that, you need a VAT number.
What we do not promise
ToBePolo is just starting out: today there are still few crafts and experiences on the site. We do not promise a number of bookings. We publish only real crafts and experiences, checked one by one.
Optional services
ToBePolo can do workshop photos, texts, video and your personal page for you, for a fee. You do not need them to teach: they are extra help to get you noticed.
