Description
In June 1859, after the battle of Solferino, thousands of wounded soldiers were brought to Castiglione delle Stiviere. Among those caring for them was Henry Dunant: those days led to the book that founded the Red Cross.
In three hours on foot we retrace those places, ending at the International Red Cross Museum. Your guide is Elind, founder of ToBePolo. The museum ticket is not included.
It runs only in June 2027, the month of the battle: on Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 10 am or 1 pm.
After booking, use the chat to ask the person offering the craft or experience what to bring and what is included.
Approximate area. The exact place comes with the booking confirmation.
